Review a Risk

Regular reviews keep risks current and contribute to a high Quality Score.

Why review?

Risks change over time. A risk assessed six months ago may have a different probability or impact today. Regular reviews ensure your register reflects reality.

Tip: Aim to review active risks at least monthly. High-level risks should be reviewed more frequently.

Before you start

You need Editor or Owner role to record a review.

Steps

  1. Open a risk — click on any risk in the register

  2. Find the Reviews section — scroll to "Reviews" on the risk detail page

  3. Click Add reviewer or the review action button

  4. Complete the review:

    • Notes (required): What did you find? Any changes to the risk?
    • Change status (optional): Update the risk status if the situation has changed
    • Next review date: When should this be reviewed again?
  5. Click Save

After the review

  • If the risk situation changed, update the assessment
  • If the risk has been fully resolved, update the status to Closed
  • Set a next review date to stay on schedule
